The ground rules. Please read before you sign.
Basic Requirements
All pets must be non-aggressive toward people. Your home must be safe and clean for our visits. We're only responsible for your pet and home during our scheduled service time — please let us know if anyone else will be coming and going during those dates. If we need a locksmith because of a lock issue or missing key, you agree to cover the cost.
Walks & Outside Time
Pets need a collar and ID tag any time they go outside. Pets must be current on vaccines and flea/tick prevention, and non-aggressive to people, kids, other animals, food, and toys. We can't be responsible for the whereabouts or safety of indoor-outdoor cats.
Puppies
Puppies need to be at least 20 weeks old and fully vaccinated (final DHPP/DA2PP booster + Bordetella) before joining neighborhood walks or group socialization.
Spay / Neuter Policy
Dogs over 12 months should be spayed or neutered to join group play, daycare or boarding. We may make exceptions case-by-case: for example, when an unaltered dog would be the only unaltered dog on-site — at our discretion. Any exception can be revoked at any time.
Important: intact females in heat can't share space with any male dogs (intact or neutered). If your girl comes into heat before or during a scheduled stay, please let us know right away.
Weather
We'll modify outdoor time when weather is unsafe. No walks above 85°F or if the pavement fails the 7-second hand test. No walks below 20°F (including wind chill); between 20–32°F we'll stick to quick potty breaks. We'll adjust for storms, hail, ice, and heavy wind as needed.
Vaccines & Flea/Tick
All pets must be current on vaccines and flea/tick prevention. Rabies documentation is required for all clients. Daycare and boarding clients also need DHPP/DA2PP, Bordetella, and an annual negative fecal test on file.
Daycare & Boarding — Who's a Good Fit
Dogs must be friendly with people, our resident cats, and other dogs. We evaluate each dog individually, and may decline or end a stay if we see aggression, excessive fear, resource guarding, unsafe behavior, or cat fixation. We can't guarantee separation from other boarding dogs.
Extra Care Fees
Some dogs need more time, attention, or cleanup than a standard stay — extra cleanup, frequent potty needs, crate adjustment help, or overnight attention. When that happens, we may add an additional care fee. We'll let you know the amount at booking or as soon as the need comes up.
Reservations & Cancellations
Please book at least 14 days ahead (30 days for holidays).
Cancellation fees:
• In-home Visits - if cancelled inside 24 hours
Short visit (up to 30mins): $15
Medium visit (45mins): $25
Extended visit (60-120mins): $35
• Same-day cancellations - full fee
• Daycare - $25 if canceled inside 24 hours
• Boarding - $40 inside 48 hours; full first-night fee inside 24 hours
• Holiday bookings - $50 if canceled inside 72 hours
We can waive or adjust fees at our discretion.
Holidays
Holiday bookings may include a surcharge applied to the day before, day of, and day after the holiday. Exact rates shared at booking.
Payment
We accept Zelle, Venmo, personal checks and cash. An invoice goes out after services are complete, with payment due within 14 days. Late payments may add a 10% monthly charge. Returned checks incur a $25 fee and may end check-payment privileges. Invoices past 90 days may go to collections with an additional 5% monthly late fee.
Accuracy
Please make sure everything in this application is accurate and current. We rely on it to care for your pet, and we cannot be responsible for problems caused by missing or incorrect info.
